Mr. Fulford has met with accusations of bringing false information many times over the years. Several factions in conflict use him to disseminate information, even to facilitate meetings between them. He has stated that he often cannot claim any veracity of the information, but when he finds it of interest to the audience he serves as an "information-specialist" for, he may still submit the information.

Thank you for that. It was sadly difficult to hear, and had to leave it after a while. Even with headphones I didn't get what he said a lot of the time, so it's possible that my comment don't hit the mark here. But I found a few statements at the beginning a little puzzling.

Like, "(7:35) [...] objectivity is the fundamental arbiter of truth." In my earlier days I would agree with this. But I have found "truth" as a state of perception is actually independent of objectivity. In this, objectivity is found at one end of a scale, while subjectivity is found at the other end. "Relative" is sometimes used as the opposite of objective, but that becomes a definition of objective as what it is not - i.e. a negative definition. A good understanding of "relative" is "inter-personal", with "intra-personal" being the opposite.

What fundamentally differs between objective and not-objective is the focus, I find. In this, objectivity is an external focus of the individual, while subjectivity is an internal focus. Both are valid and necessary for personal growth. Objectivity alone tend to develop into an instrumentalization (resembling 'utilitarism' and 'hedonism') of other human beings, while subjectivity alone tend to develop into what I call "extreme relativity." Truth becomes our perception of the world (and ourselves) when it results from our ability to add knowledge upon previously established knowledge. And I think it is kind of irrelevant where this knowledge comes from. True knowledge - or wisdom - comes from living life - from the experiences that shape us. But we don't bring with us the experiences - this would quickly become unbearable in time, even if they shape us.

If we don't insist to form our truths while building on previous experiences, we may also find ourselves in lack of the ability to discern. Then we risk blindly accepting any description of the world presented to us; what is called "dogma" in the video I guess, and which is an obvious condition for any religion. There are good truths found in most religions. However, when we blindly accept a description of the world we live in, and find our perception disconnected with what is described, we easily become subject to manipulation.

I guess this is the rational reason for resisting so called ‘paradigm-shifts’, which is possibly also the reason why they are such tumultuous phenomena. Like what perceivably happens globally to a large degree these days.
