Nice job on the roof @Ariya I would have done the same or I would have used packing tape to make a skylight.

You definitely need better materials. Please be careful, roofs are very dangerous.
Maybe Aluminum flashing with silicone?

I removed the cracked roof tiles and repaired them. Then used waterproof expandable foam to fill the gap. Replaced the tiles and embedded them into the foam. The visible layer of tape was really just to protect it from the rain while it set - but it’s still going strong!! It’s not a pretty repair but it works ok for now. Fingers crossed :)

Oh yes, the foam is good stuff. UV might be an issue though.

This must be a HD satellite picture of my roof! I give the birds breakfast up there in the mornings.
I have a real soft spot for pigeons… they are very sweet and loyal.
