Nobel Prize Winning "Quantum Dots" Cause Irreversible Organ Toxicity To Living Organisms

Recently a multiscale toxicology study was performed on Quantum dots. The conclusion of devastating organ toxicity, in particular with repeated exposure is highly concerning. Here is what the study showed:

This exemplifies the contrast so well. Nobel prize for some poison.

This site has a very interesting documentary on the nano in detail with electron microscopes. They are in 3 languages.

Re: Nobel Prize Winning "Quantum Dots" Cause Irreversible Organ Toxicity

I keep wondering if the quantum dot that is used in modern screens (QD-OLED) is the same as this biotech thing.
According to wikipedia the quantum dots are the photoluminescent "artificial atoms" (since they also get active then release photons like atoms do) and there is a "uses in biology" subject there so am I wrong in this assumption? That is so fucking weird if true.

Re: Nobel Prize Winning "Quantum Dots" Cause Irreversible Organ Toxicity

Sorry to divulge too much into this side topic but this is very interesting. I would be very glad to hear info from the Toleka team if I am correct in this. I wish lmao.

Since these quantum dots are photosensitive like solar panels and have an array of these in high resolution screens I don't see why these "smart" TVs couldn't be used like a sensor matrix as in a camera. There are separate red green blue pixels that can both be used as photoemitters and -sensors for the specific color.

These are used in microscopy also so 100% they do work like that. Even normal LCDs can be repurposed as weak solar panels, it's nothing new.
To make it simple LEDs emit photons if excited with electrons and and if excited with photons they emit electrons. It's a two way thing. And since electrons can be measured as a current/voltage it is measurable by sensitive circuits or be amplified. And these qd-oled panels do have separate circuits for each pixel to control the light intensity and such so who knows.

Sure these might not produce sharp images but I think it is posssible to achieve. I am not a huge optical physics guru but since the screen is huge there might be no need to have a lense in front of the "dots" as they can produce a 1:1 image since lenses are used to make images small for the camera sensor but this is one big sensor. Funnily enough if this can produce enough energy from light these might not even need to be plugged in to drive the antenna and the circuits in the tv but this might be a stretch.

People have already been suspicious about the voice activation of tvs with microphones so it's almost like in 1984.
It has been confirmed many times these smart tvs are always on when plugged in and communicate via wifi so it's possible this spy tech can be way worse than I thought. I had this idea  years before but didn't know it was this wild.
And now they have actual smart tvs coming out that do have microscopic lenses in front of the pixels for "better viewing angles". Imagine my surprise.

So take this as a separate warning to not buy a smart tv. tongue As Mari and many others on the internet have said don't use anything with a "smart" label on it or at least use them with caution and a healthy amount of suspicion.

There are so many patents on this in the public. They could put this in many things. The plasmon thing is also interesting. Watching that dose 3 vid made me think that the biological cell components could be
conglomerated and hijacked. Creepy tech.

Think about how green plants have basically a 100%(afaik) quantum energy conversion from the sun.

All this energy put into self-annihilation. Truly astounding.

Another article on QDs.

There are supposedly different types, but the problem then is contamination.

This is a massive industry with little to no oversight. Just like with radiation, they pick near invisible industries that are hard to see. You need specialised equipment and expertise nevermind regulations.
