❤️ Technical Difficulties with the Forum

Dear All,

You may have noticed that there are some issues with the forum. The forum at this point is only partly functioning creating an error message when: 

- creating new threads
- posting to certain threads.

Or

Error: Could not connect to smtp host "smtp.dnainternet.net" (0) (php_network_getaddresses: getaddrinfo failed: Name or service not known).

This issue also occurred last August, but was resolved within a few days. It has occurred intermittently in recent times for some users. However it seems that most forum users are effected by this issue at this point in time

I was only able to open this thread by creating it in another area of the forum and moving it with a moderator function. Myself or another moderator will continue to do this for new videos to allow the discussion to continue.

At this point, my assessment that is that is possibly an smtp or DNS configuration error which could be resolved in the Fluxbb forum app section on the webhost  cPannel. There may also be cache issues with the database. The server loads are low so this does not indicate DDOS attempt.

Hopefully when Gosia sees this note she can ask Mikko to look into it when he has time.

I informed Gosia yesterday when I became aware of it, and she will inform Mikko about it.

And Mikko is doing this in his spare time and Gosia has mentioned a few times that he has his hands full and has very little spare time so I wanna say that Mikko can look into it when he can, no pressure. We are resourceful starseeds/light beings and we can flip this into a positive by using it as an opportunity to chill and slow down and have a break from social media and relax. (On the telegram chats we have implemented a day off on Sundays to take a break.)

Then if not DDoS or flood spam based from outside have to be something set in the forum board options that came to fruition as such limitation of usage.

Yeah. Looks DNS related. Either flush a cache, add more nameservers or correct. Seems it might be something more like that. Not much information, but DDOS doesn't seem to fit.
