Quartz Crystal
I have a question, not sure if anyone can answer...what is the significance of a type of quartz that is double terminated and 7.5 on the hardness scale as opposed to the regular 7 and is only found in one place on earth? There's something about the area...Herkimer, NY in the Mohawk Valley and I have been trying to understand what it is. I keep coming back to the type of quartz found there.
