Chile wildfire

Did you hear, just now, there was a wildfire in Chile. It looks very similar to last year's Hawaii fires from the related web video and picture, the car was burned while the surrounding trees were fine.

Possible, but seems burning is the quickest way to clear land. They go for the coast and islands it seems.
This said central Chile in foothills. Trying to find some real news on it.

Chile seems right in line.

Remember the chequerboard they love so much. Do some good in the world and on the other hand create hell.

I dont trust anyone in government right now. Anyone taking orders from the big nosed creatures is just another stooge.

Re: Chile wildfire

This site shows a wildfire map. This is Pacific coast. Santiago is a smart city.

Looks like it is that orange area below Santiago.

Re: Chile wildfire

Was looking for more information in Chile fires. Here's a neighborhood that was miraculously unscathed. It was funded by USAID to be fireproofed. Imagine.

Quote:
In this desert of ash and soot, an oasis.

The neighborhood of Botania gleamed upon the hilltop, its neat rows of brightly painted houses undamaged. Cars sat undisturbed on its ash-free roads.

Botania owes its escape to the disciplined execution of a fire prevention plan crafted by Chilean forestry officials and a local nongovernmental organization, with support from the U.S. government. For months, with more than $20,000 in funding from the U.S. Agency for International Development, community leaders had bought supplies and prepared for the next big fire.

Authorities believe this month’s blazes were started intentionally. But scientists say what sped the fires’ spread was a volatile combination of drought, climate change and El Niño. Three times more land in Chile burned in the past decade than in the one before,
